Cleaning Jags

Cleaning Jags are small attachments that screw onto the end of a cleaning rod. They hold a cleaning patch in place while the rod is being pushed through the bore. To use one, pierce the middle of a cotton cleaning patch with the jag and push it through the barrel. The point keeps the patch in place as you push it through. If a spertip jag is being used, after exiting the muzzle with the cleaning rod the dirty patch falls off preventing a dirty patch from being pulled back through the barrel.
