Tempilaq® Indicating coating is an efficient, convenient and affordable method to verify the achievement of a specific temperature on a wide range of surfaces under dynamic conditions. Easily painted on any surface, Tempilaq® leaves an irreversible mark that is optimal for heat-treating, preventive maintenance and any other temperature sensitive applications.

Application
When applied to a surface, Tempilaq quickly dries to form a dull and opaque film.  The film liquifies when heat is applied and the rated temperature is reached. As the surface cools, the liquified Tempilaq re-solidifies to leave a distinctly different mark, confirming that the target temperature has indeed been achieved.
