The use of a Possum Hollow bore guide otherwise known as a rod guide, helps to aligns the cleaning rod centrally to the bore to prevent throat or rifling damage. An O-ring seals the chamber and prevents solvents from contaminating the action and trigger and helps to keep the bore guide firmly in place. And the integral port facilitates applying the solvent to the brush, jag and patch without it dripping on your rifle stock, work surface or floor.
