CCI® #11 Magnum Percussion Caps
CCI® #11 Magnum Percussion Caps provide the reliable, consistent ignition blackpowder shooters need. They feature non-corrosive, non-mercuric priming compounds with soft, ribbed copper cups, and they are available in a variety of styles.
CCI® #11 Percussion Caps are fabricated from a non-corrosive, non-mercuric compound mix and assembled in individual, ribbed, copper caps for use in black powder revolvers having smaller nipples. These ribbed caps match standard #11 nipple sizes and provide both clean burning and extremely reliable ignition.
These percussion caps are continuously being tested and improved. As a result, today's Percussion Caps are more sensitive, easier to seat and more compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment than ever before.
When using any percussion caps for re-enactment or demonstration shooting without a powder charge or bullet, only use nipples with a large internal diameter. Standard nipples intended for normal loads can clog when fired repeatedly without a powder charge, potentially causing the cap to fragment. CCI recommend a minimum internal diameter of 0.050 inch for nipples used without powder charges and bullets. Thoroughly clean nipples and the flame path during firing sessions.
Always wear approved shooting glasses when firing any muzzle loading firearm.
