View full detailsShell holders are normally heat treated and hold the cartridges during various stages of case preparation including the resizing, priming and bullet seating operations. The shell holder should be selected based on the cartridge case that is being prepped or loaded. Shell holders used in reloading presses differ from those specific to some brands of hand priming tools on the market. Generally one obvious difference is the press type shell holder has a prominent lug on the underside which slides into the top of the press ram.
The Forster Co-Ax press has a unique method of holding the cartridge case and uses brand specific Shell Holder Jaws and this type will not fit presses from other brands.
