Case Cleaning Products

Clean brass cartridge casings load easier, keep the inside of reloading dies cleaner, and may even help your barrel last longer. Brass collected up off the ground almost always has some manner of dirt attached to it and, depending on the specific shooting range, that will cause more or less concern. For example if it’s sand, this debris can do serious damage to a die (and rifle barrel). There will also always be a firing residue, if not on the case, it will be inside the case, and within this will also be primer residue, which is very abrasive.

Brass cartridge casings don't have to be shiny to be clean. as long as you get down to the bare metal that’s normally “clean” enough.
